Young, Modern and Gay

Silverchair always took giant leaps when it came to reinventing their sound. Frogstomp to Diorama were especially brilliant. I remember having goosebumps when I first heard the songs in Neon Ballroom.

With their latest release, Young Modern, I don't know if I can still say that and mean it in a good way. I'm a little disappointed considering that they made the soundtrack of my adolescent life. I don't consider it a bad album, I'm just not blown away by any of the songs.

I don't know if I'll ever get used to the mustache and the chest hair. It's not a bad thing to want to make people dance to your music pero Daniel Johns...bading ka na ba? :p
